We are devoted to loving God through our daily lives, and we believe in the power of prayer and service to others. Our community fosters a sense of unity and belonging, and we support one another as we journey together in faith.

Brother Leo's divine vision in 1994 marked the start of an incredible journey towards a semi-ascetic apostolic way of life, inspired by the path of St. Francis of Assisi. His wholehearted and unwavering commitment to this journey led to the formation of the Assisi Apostolic Family. Following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, in 2004, seven other families also embarked on this journey along with Bro.D.Leo and his family. As they continued down this path, their dedication and perseverance led to the establishment of the Assisi Apostolic Garden situated in Pudupakkam, Near Kelambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Now, the Assisi Apostolic Family and its related Ministries stand as a testament to the power of faith, community, and unwavering determination. May their journey and successes serve as an inspiration to all, reminding all of the incredible possibilities that lie ahead when we follow our divine callings and live with purpose.

St.Francis of Assisi Church

The Church of St. Francis of Assisi is an exquisite place of worship located within Assisi Garden, Assisi Nagar, Pudupakkam, Chennai, TamilNadu. The miraculous Church was inaugurated by Rt.Rev.Dr.Lawrence Pius, Rt.Rev.Dr.Neethinathan, Rev.Fr.Backiya Regis and several other Fathers on Oct 4th 2013.

Church Activities

Regular Prayer Services including 1st Saturday night prayer with Confession/Holy Mass, Second Sunday Full Day Prayer with Confession/Holy Mass, Holy Mass every Sunday with confession. Also Retreats (Children / Youth / Adults / General retreats) are being conducted in the Church and also other Spiritual activities, apart from above are the daily spiritual activities of Assisi Core Members.
